Our continuing research and development has lead to the creation of the BGR Oil Extraction Process (OEP) which removes oil from contaminated well bore cuttings produced during offshore and land-based oil exploration drilling.
This is accomplished through a chemically induced extraction process.
OEP is an extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology that can be placed on offshore rigs during drilling operations. OEP has also proved effective in the removal of oil from other hydrocarbon contaminated materials such as processed sands, tank bottoms, drilling muds, and oil contaminated waste pits.
